These terms govern your use of claiodesigns.com and the services Claio provides. By using our website or working with us, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language because that's the kind of business we want to run.

Who we are

Claio is a small web design studio based in Los Angeles, California. We design and build websites for small businesses, and offer optional hosting and support. You can reach us at ethan@claiodesigns.com.

Using our website

You may use claiodesigns.com for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the site or any of its features in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or any data we hold
• Use automated systems to scrape, copy, or extract content from the site
• Submit false or misleading information through our forms

Our services

Paid services (such as the Website Refresh, New Website Build, and Hosting & Support packages) are governed by a separate project agreement provided to you before payment. These site terms apply to your use of the website itself; the project agreement applies to the work we do for you. If the two ever conflict, the project agreement controls.

Intellectual property

All content on claiodesigns.com — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of Claio and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

No warranty

The website and all features, content, and tools made available through it are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The website audit tool is a proprietary scoring system developed and maintained by Claio. Results are generated by our own algorithm and methodology, and while we stand behind the quality of our system, all scores and findings are based on our framework and may not capture every factor relevant to your specific situation. Any revenue figures, financial projections, lost-revenue calculations, or business impact numbers presented in audit reports are estimates only, based on industry averages and our internal modeling, and are not guarantees or predictions of actual results for your business. Information provided through any feature of this site should be treated as a starting point, not a definitive or exhaustive assessment. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or free from security issues.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or audit tool. Our total liability for any claim related to the website is limited to $100.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
